This Joy Fest we have planned to many activities for an under-resourced which is inside the IIT Campus. The kids there are mostly orphans or from a very poor background. They learn and live there but its rare they get a chance to access the luxuries we are accustomed to. We are collecting stationary and gifts for these kids and many fun activities to bring smiles on their faces. Today, we conducted one such activity. We took them to the Nehru Museum inside IIT Kgp campus and showed them the other side of the world they live in because their life is confined to the little school they live in. Apart from that we involved them in a photography session there which was really special for them because before today they did not see such things and did not have their smiles captured! Next
we are keeping a drawing competition for them from the stationary
we have collected. |
